Baleaf and Little Donkey bike covers - fabric difference

I bought BOTH Little Donkey and Baleaf sleeveless convertible bike jackets. They are very similar in design, price and features. Baleaf has a wider range of colors and is a more established brand with 1400 reviews compared to Little Donkey's 180. Each transforms with the simple removal of a zip sleeve. Neither brand on this model is waterproof and both offer LARGE zipped pocket options which was a huge plus for me. .I bought in May with cold mornings and warm afternoons so I wore in a decent temperature range. VERDICT: I'm leaving Little Donkey and returning Baleaf for superior breathability. Although the fabrics look the same, they are not. As soon as you put the Little Donkey on you will feel the breathability. It's ULTRA LIGHT on your torso and its ability to keep you cool is obvious from the start. It also offers some heat retention and wind resistance, so it works both ways to keep your body warm when you're working out or just walking around. Baleaf is different. No disrespect as it is a well known brand and I have items from them but as soon as I put their product on I could feel the difference in breathability. Baleaf feels heavier without air exchange. Each product has detachable sleeves, but Little Donkey is so lightweight and breathable you may not need to take it off to stay cool. For reference: I live in Rhode Island, USA and drive about 50 minutes in 5 days. the week.
