The lady who cuts my hair put this on me about ten years ago and I've been using it ever since. The front is a bit longer and I like having it brushed to the side and keeping it in place. It is great. Its texture is somewhere between mousse and gel. Best of all, applying a little to damp hair will keep your hair in place and keep that wet look. But if you let it dry and then run a comb or brush over it, the wet look will disappear but your hair will stay where it should be. PLUS, your hair won't have that weird cracked texture! As a rugged handsome man I find it embarrassing that I use any "products" but if you use some in your hair this thing is good. Cool. Oh, by the way, you don't smell like a chick!
