Overall the product does a good job of filtering out the grounds and makes a decent cup of coffee. However, compared to other coffee filters I've used, I find this one filters out more oil and coffee aroma. I'm not sure if it's because the side of the cone is tri-folded (and the other side of the cone is a layer to create a cone shape from a circle). A good alternative I've found is from the same brand but these are brown paper filters that fold up but don't have the 3-ply design. Materials to fold it several times. I wouldn't recommend it, but another product from the same brand is better.
