After using various products (bacteriostats) for almost ten years I ordered this product because it was advertised to reduce limescale and also keep the air clean . After just a few days. no matter. Instead of changing the filter every two hours or so, I only do it a couple of times a day and even then, the filters never clog with limescale. I can't attest to the fact that it makes the air cleaner than before, but I'm very impressed with the minimal amount of attention my humidifier now needs.
