Plug and play for DVI cables
This adapter worked well with my Asus Maximus VIII Ranger motherboard - I use it to drive a DVI over DisplayPort monitor. No drivers are required as this is a passive adapter - I just plugged it in and it worked the first time. Now after using it for a few weeks I forgot it was even there. So as long as your device works with a passive adapter, this is a good buy for the price.
