DISCONNECT THE CHARGER!

These chargers have a SECRET! Disconnect the charger after use. don't leave it on Cheap capacitors will weaken over time and the internal fuse will blow. This system is probably set up that way for security reasons, but I don't know. I know that unplugging the charger should extend the life of the charger. It's a good idea to remove the battery from the charger when it's fully charged and then unplug the charger.
