EGO Power Lithium Ion Standard Equipment Review

Great battery and blower, but when the battery dies I order a lot for my farms and other properties. A certain percentage of batteries will fail immediately. This company has really bad customer service when it comes to fixing failed batteries.

These chargers have a SECRET! Disconnect the charger after use. don't leave it on Cheap capacitors will weaken over time and the internal fuse will blow. This system is probably set up that way for security reasons, but I don't know. I know that unplugging the charger should extend the life of the charger. It's a good idea to remove the battery from the charger when it's fully charged and then unplug the charger.

I bought this battery last year and it has died in almost exactly a year. My charger is flashing red, indicating the battery is low. The Ego mower purchased in July 2017 came with a 5.0Ah battery and up until June 2018 the 5.0Ah battery was occasionally used for a required 15 minute break (as dated Manufacturer declares) disconnected before resuming service.
