It's bigger than I thought it would be and occupies 2 USB 3 ports, 1 for connectivity and 1 for coverage because it's so thick. If they made it a little smaller it wouldn't be a problem. Another thing is that if it allows him to choose the frequency for my situation, it is slow. I ordered it because I just got fiber to my house with 50Mbps download speed. But the speed test showed that I get about half as much, which disappointed me. Went into device manager and network adapters (it's a Realtek 8812BU) and had to go into enhanced mode and force it to 802.11ac wireless. Then I could get very close if it wasn't for the 50Mbps download speed. In addition, it is driver installation, plug-and-forget.
