I have a 2013 Tesla Model S and all I have in my house is an old fashioned garage dryer. This adapter is perfect for converting my old outlet to a newer, higher amperage plug provided by Tesla. NOTE: Just because your charger is rated for 50 amps does not mean you should use 50 amps through this adapter. The 10-30 outlet is only rated for 30 amps (you should only use 80% of that for safety reasons), so set your car to charge no more than 26 amps!
