Like many others, I read the review before buying. I noticed that the main complaint was that the screw sucks a bit. However, I'm very mechanically inclined and thought I might find a solution. Problem. I noticed that the male end that fits into the female end only had one hole to line up the screw. I then measured the screw and found that it was exactly the same size as the inside diameter of the female end. This is where the problem comes in, as there was only one hole in the male part that the screw could not fully insert. The fix So you have two options: either cut the screw to the right size, or drill a hole completely through the patrix. . I chose drilling because holding and cutting small pieces of metal is much more difficult and time consuming. After drilling the holes, the screw was a perfect fit. Hope this helps anyone having trouble. I have chosen not to use the included hardware other than the screw shown in the red circle. As for the hangers themselves, I really like them.
