Like most I am used to my old device which is old technology and has had many years. He also does what he wants. It's easy to set the time and alarm, the numbers are larger and easier to read from a distance, you can use either the standard time display or the 24-hour military display (I liked that) and (very important) you can change the light intensity adjust the display with a slider. I would recommend using a rechargeable battery which will save your settings and time. It also comes with a "night light" on top and you can set its colors (red, white, etc.). It's a BRIGHT light (I rarely use it) and if you like sleeping in a completely dark room, just press the top and it dims or changes color. It would be nice if they had a little adjustment for that. Basically great for the money and so far I haven't had any problems. I rarely use the alarm clock (I use Alexa and my smartphone), but it works well. Because of his size, he is also good at traveling. It works and that's why I bought it. Now let's hope it lasts over 10 years like my old one!
