Video quality: I installed a Pixelman rear camera, the video clarity is very good. The color is fine and I'm lucky enough to be able to turn up the color setting on my main unit. The dynamic range is decent and not what I've seen so far. Video at night is ok but much better than the Autovox CMD24 camera which was usable but very grainy/noisy. The frame rate is flat. Reliability: I've had this setup with constant 12v power when the car is on and it hasn't given me any problems in the last two weeks of driving. Form Factor: The camera is small, but not as small as the Autovox CMD24. I find it still delivers the understated look I was looking for. Installation: Installation is easy and one of the reasons I bought this particular camera is the thin 4 pin connectors to minimize cutting in my hub. I bought a 4 pin extension cord to run the included power converter next to the fuse box and replaced the included video jack with a smaller cord as the fuse box is very close to the main unit. Please note that not many rear view cameras have an RCA jack on the power converter as the RCA cable is usually hardwired with a very long cable.
