the vacuum cleaner works perfectly, it sucks perfectly. I have two dogs that spill the entire floor with every move. Cons of this model: - No "belt reset" button or lights on the carpet piece - the hose is a bit stiff and on the short side - the bottom element doesn't work. as well as the one that comes with the more expensive Kenmores, and in fact I just ordered one of those separately. The part that comes with this model is smaller and doesn't appear to lay flat. The pole extender isn't as easy to use as the more expensive Kenmores, as you have to reach down to extend it instead of just pulling from the top. if that makes sense PROS: - Excellent suction on both floors and carpets - Using the nozzle without attachments is great - my older, more expensive Kenmore that I had before had a bulky bit on the end of the hose so I didn't could use it without a nozzle - lighter than the old canister.In general, it works fine. Because of dogs and kids I take this thing out 3 times a day and for the price it's a decent vacuum.
