They were over $50 cheaper than the ones I bought from AutoZone. I bought 2 hood braces from AutoZone for $74 and it was under my mechanic friend's commercial account. He told me to look for Revane and return the expensive set. I'm glad I did. All I needed was a small flathead screwdriver and a 10mm ratchet. I changed them in less than 5 minutes. You unscrew the two 10mm screws and set them aside as you will need them later. You then insert the flat head into the bottom slot to push out the metal clip. Once the clip pops out a bit, you can remove the stand. When fitting a new rack, all you have to do is attach the two 10mm screws and the plate first, then simply insert the bottom connector. You don't need to loosen the metal clip to attach.
