This has to be the best key block on the market at a very reasonable price. I like the 1" mounting hole as it allows for the use of a strong 7/8" zinc plated pin on the shackle as well as other smaller mounting hooks and pins, but it's not big enough to be the block's weak point. The circus is a great feature to ensure the block isn't used hard and not cleaned up wet. As others have noted, the frame is heavy cast and the roller is wide enough. The thoughtful design of this key block is evident. and much appreciated.
