Don't buy these coffee makers

I bought my first coffee maker in October 2004. It worked fine for several months, but gradually began to fall apart. Cheap plastic parts cannot withstand the steam pressure during the brewing process. I ended up having to call Home Cafe and ask them to send me a replacement capsule holder because mine ended up falling into small pieces. A week after I got a new holder, it also started cracking. I then took the unit back to my local friendly Super Walmart and exchanged it for a different model (white). In this model, not only the capsule holder, but also the device itself broke into small plastic parts before it even turned over. for more. I just threw it away instead of returning it. Also, they spray coffee all over the counter and even on you, so don't stand around unless you want to take a coffee shower. The pressure pushes the coffee out to the side as it brews, and the coffee seeps into the side of the coffee maker. When you're done brewing, you should have cleared the counter, side of the microwave, yourself, etc. DO NOT BUY HOME CAFÉ MAKER. THEY WON'T DO BETTER THAN DECREASE YOUR MONEY. I think the only ones happy with these coffee makers are Starbucks because I made quick coffee there again. I came to Revain to read the Senseo reviews and decide if I should give it a third try. They all agreed with the Home Cafe reviews posted here and I think I'll go back to the regular coffee maker.
