Covid 19 has forced me to buy a long forgotten device, an external webcam. There are many webcams from brands I'm not familiar with, but luckily I came across this Creative webcam. Knowing this brand from their sound cards, I decided to give it a try. Below are my observations: 1- Simple camera, nothing fancy but it does the job. 2- Convenient plug and play device. Just plugged in USB Type A to my laptop/desktop and it was recognized. 3. Tested on Zoom, WEBEX, Google Meet and Skype without any problems. It has a built-in microphone that works great. 4. The camera can be mounted on a tripod, so it works well when you want to play games via video conference, such as video conference. B.MAGIC. 5. One of the very nice features is the privacy lens cap. . It's very easy not to be seen by simply covering the lens with the attached rubber cap. 6 - Very good picture quality for the price. 7 - The attachment to the monitor can be a bit unreliable depending on the width of your monitor. I used it on my desktop monitor and it took a bit to get it right, but it was easier on my laptop. Overall, this webcam gets the job done and is from a reputable company. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a webcam for hangouts, gaming and even basic streaming.
