May require tuning to your psi range. So.

First off, this is a really good pump. It's explosion-proof, you can buy parts for it, and it's ADJUSTABLE so you can set it to the pressure range you want. I use mine primarily for car tires and my weight is around 8 lbs. That's fine for 90psi truck tires, but that's not what I bought it for. To adjust this sensor, remove the large screw at the end, then pry off the plastic washers with the small holes in the middle. Now pull out the cartridge. Remove the large screw at the end of the cartridge and use a small screwdriver to adjust the gauge. 1/2 turn = approximately 5 psi at the bottom (30-40 psi) end of the scale. A bit of trial and error with a pressure gauge you trust at the pressure you're measuring. and you did To save yourself a cycle of disassembly and reassembly, be sure to insert the cartridge with the gauge facing the sight hole.
