This is an extremely durable, well designed and well made footrest. I had a static wedge under my desk for years, it was just a simple wedge but it slipped too often. I recently tried another style that felt more like a pillow, round on one side and flat on the other, but it was too soft, too narrow, and didn't provide much support. (see photo) I kept researching until I came across this. This new one is great! Although the cost is more expensive, it is worth it. It's stable but I can rock my legs on it which is great for blood flow in my legs. The sandpaper texture keeps your feet from slipping and the texture on the bottom keeps the stand in place. Wider than most. It's easy enough to pick it up with your feet and move it around a bit if needed (I'm currently using it on hardwood floors). Highly recommended.
