Review on Sennelier Extra-Soft Pastel Full Stick Set, 48 Count (1 Pack), Multi-Colored by Gelin Battle

The sticks are oily and the colors are vibrant, but I have two flaws - one small and one large. A small problem is that the sticks are squeezed so tightly by the surrounding foam that they are stored in a state where it is almost impossible to fish out the stick without breaking it. The main one is that it has to be a landscape set and there isn't a single magenta or purple in the set. If you have worked with pastels you know how difficult it is to mix colors on paper and this is a serious oversight on Sennelier's part. Addendum: One more note. I will never buy pastels wrapped in labels again. If you want to make broad strokes, you need the pastel side. No matter how carefully I tried to remove the wrappers, these things crumbled into small pieces.
