I live in an area where it gets up to 100 in the summer and sometimes up to 25 in the winter. I keep my truck outside - no garage. I bought one of these for my Warn 87800 and it lasted about a year before starting to wear out in the top corners of the engine case. During this time he has done a good job of keeping the winds dry and away from the sun. I treated with 303 Aerospace Protectant about every 6 weeks but it still faded fairly quickly. So if you leave your car in a garage, you can benefit from it for a couple of years or three. Oh, and in case you're worried about someone taking it, I've wrapped it tightly with a Master Lock Python cable. Seems to be working fine.
