Review on ๐Ÿšฝ Jabsco 37041-0010 Marine Electric Toilet Macerator Sub Assembly Kit, 12-Volt, 37010-Series - Black by Patrick Reynolds

Quite easy. Joker valve did not replace

Unlike others, my old toilet had the black plastic tube "almost melted" into the white panel of the toilet itself. It was 30 years old. I had to use a hammer and a 1/2" wood chisel to slowly poke the old black bushing out. You should start chipping out small pieces around the edge first. After about 10 minutes of moderate bumping it was over. (Don't hit hard , otherwise you'll dent the white plastic of the toilet - but it turns out it doesn't matter.) After the black bushing was removed, I used some lithium grease to line the o-ring groove (on the new black bushing) that lubricating the white toilet mating surface and the o-ring itself. I used a flat file to smooth the white mating surface on the toilet. It didn't seem like much needed. but why not make sure it's true. 4 screws later and done. Pretty simple. The joker didn't change the valve. I believe if it works well after 30 years, it still has 30 years to go. If you're that inclined, there's a video on YouTube about the meaning of the joker. Generally work for 30-40 minutes. Difficulty = 2 (out of 10).
