It is easy to use and read. However, the "E" factors assigned to different materials need some calibration for a true temperature measurement. For example, in the guide, if you set the coefficient to 0.95, the water will boil at about 95 degrees C. Reset E = 90, and the water temperatures of 100 C at the boil and the forehead temperature will be the same as any other remote reading device I have exposed effects.
