I suddenly/overnight have a "dead cylinder" on my 2015 Mustang GT. Google advised me to try a few things but it didn't help. When the check engine light came on, I decided the best thing I could do was get a code reader (I've never had one before). After working with it for a few minutes I saw an error indicating cylinder #5 coil malfunction. Upon examination, I found that the rat had completely chewed through the wires in the harness. It would be hard to spot, so the scanner saved me a lot of time. Apparently it can do a lot more than just read trouble codes, which I didn't realize at the time. Despite the damage, it was fairly easy to fix. I also caught a rat with a trap that I also bought from Revain.
