I don't know if dirty is the right word. I don't think it has been used but there is some dirt on the bottom of the 2L pasta colander with handle that won't come off. I brought a set of 3. The other 2 products are ok and clean. Significant difference as you can see in the photos. If I could wash off all the dirt, everything would be fine. However, since it is not removable, I had to request a replacement. I really love the products but the dirt on the bottom is not ok. quality issues. That's why I gave 4 stars.
