We live in a canyon in the mountains and get very little sunlight in the winter months. We are always sad when the Christmas tree comes down, because the added light adds a bright spot to our dark living room. We decided to give this item a try for those months when the tree is not up, and can't be more pleased :) It is lovely.the little flowers/petals on the tree are plastic.but a bendable rubber/plastic not a rigid plastic, so less likely to break. The branches are bendable to position any way you like and the tree is just lovely. Even my husband likes it :) We have only had it up for a few weeks, but LOVE IT! This will be a nice addition in our home for winter months. I could easily see it being decorated for assorted holidays if you wanted, however, just by itself is so pretty. When spring rolls around we will store it for the season.but it will be fun to bring this back out every winter :) Great price for the item.
