Review on 🔥 FOSTAR 5-Piece Ferro Rod Scraper Striker Set: Essential Multi-Function Survival Tool by Darth Calder

I'm not sure about the difference between the reviews but I really know what I'm doing. That does not work. The absolute best spark I was able to get out of mine was when after disastrous results I decided to cut it with an electric grinder. Then, and only then, would they give a decent spark. Although the sparks are still smaller than any cheap butane lighter. Serious. What works better than that: a 50 cent "folding map knife". Camping/recon knife at the store for $1 (total junk). Any other steel object in my house that has an edge. I gave these attackers every chance I could get. I scratched off the paint. Not many upgrades, rare sparks. Filed neatly and squarely. No improvement. Mr. Electric Shredder flared up. That's when I realized they were useless. If you've ever used a bench grinder, a hand grinder, or even watched it on TV, you know what a barrage of sparks it creates. It had NO sparks now, but the sparks it got from rubbing were pathetic. So if you were in the woods with a grinder and an outlet, you'd still be screwed. I rarely write negative reviews, but this is complete nonsense. They're magnetic so there's some iron in them, but I just threw all 5 of mine in the trash. Since I don't have a sharpener, I use a modified utility knife blade. I'll also be on the lookout for some metal straps as mentioned by another disgruntled reviewer. Just out of curiosity, I think I'll dig them out of the trash again and see what happens after lighting a cherry red one with a propane lamp. But I still will NOT use them in ANY emergency or to save my life. You can't do something that bad by accident. Update: A cherry red set on fire. submitted. Still no more than a faint spark. Out of the 5 forwards, I had one who sparked poorly and it was only because he had a burr on one edge. After 10 strokes the burr subsided and the sparks stopped. Back in the trash.
