I have used several ceramic finishes and this is good. I've used it on a few cars and with two coats the cars look like they are covered in glass. I really like the look after application. Coating wasn't a big deal. It's definitely less work than waxing. The challenge was the preparation. As this is a durable finish I had to do a lot of prep work on the car. I washed and clayed the car before applying this coating which took a lot of time. However, the result was worth it. I've used it on some black matte plastic surfaces and it darkened the matte color a few tones but the surface stayed matte so I'm happy with the result. It's not as much work as waxing, but the mistakes stick with you for a long time. I had another leak in the ceramic coating two years ago and it's still on the car! It is extremely important to be very careful and do it right because it takes a LONG time. I've actually found that lighter coatings result in fewer streaks. It's pretty easy to get streaks, so you'll need to move slowly and buff the surface A LOT with a microfiber cloth. If you have a black car, be extremely careful with the stripes. My previous car was black and it was very difficult not to get streaks with these ceramic coatings. I've also found that I've pushed back a large area after applying it to several smaller areas just to make sure the buff is even and there are no streaks. Then I polish the whole car when I'm done and again the next day. The next day I had a slight haze and polishing with microfiber removed this and gave a fantastic glass like finish. You have to keep in mind that it probably won't be at 95% for a few days. Any water on the finish should be quickly wiped off and the area buffed with a microfiber cloth. I've only had a few days in the car. After a few weeks I apply a second layer. This creates a built-up layer that extends the service life. I also have some ceramic spray coatings (e.g. Refresh) that I use regularly after washing to freshen up the finish. I will never go back to non-ceramic coatings. They are far superior to previous products I have used.
