This book does one thing very well. If you use markers or alcohol-based paints, this may be the holy grail of sketchbooks for you. You can pour ink in layers and it won't bleed through to the other side. This is how I use it and only this is how I will use it. Even though it advertises that you can use all media, I don't think it gives the results you would expect from water-based media. It may be fine for some other dry mediums like pencil, crayon, and charcoal, but I have plenty of other paper for this and I feel like I'm wasting that paper to use for these purposes, except maybe, crayon with odorless Shade White Spirit. Don't expect it to hold up well to watercolor, watercolor pencils, or ink at all. Adding water instantly turns the page into this gray mess with no integrity. I still give this book 5 stars because what it does with alcohol based products works better than anything I've seen and I will continue to use it for that reason. If you want mixed paper that can handle water-based media, look elsewhere, but if you want a good alcohol marker book that you can use on both sides of the paper without fear of spilling, then this is yours Ticket.
