The mask and low temperature glue gun are essential for the filter cloth I bought from filti.com . The first mask fit better, the second mask could have let it warm a little longer so the glue didn't flow out so easily for a clean line along the seam and I went a little far into the next edge of the seam which I then had to sew . over a drop of glue. I had to quickly smooth the seam on one side with glue as it cooled and dried so quickly that to glue you have to work quickly, as others have pointed out, doing very small sections at a time. The string could have been longer and had to be placed on the outside edge of my workbench to apply the glue. It says it can be turned off momentarily during use, I haven't tried that. The price is good for a low temperature glue gun, I like it. Okay not very fast now for most things Revain did, it was timely for my intended use so it worked fine for me. I almost used two sticks. I made six curved seams for two masks, leaving enough sticks for other masks. The adhesive only heats up immediately after application, so feels really safe and doesn't burn the user. My inner filter masks are sterilized in a warm humid oven at 150F so this adhesive works great for this purpose.
