without instructions, this module is not for non-electronics technicians. Other than that, it's pretty straight forward. Make sure the input voltage is higher than the desired output voltage. That's a step down, not a step up. Don't draw more than 3 amps, probably won't do without a heatsink or cooling. The adjustment potentiometer is not very good either. One board was really unstable with the bank. If you want to use the fixed output option you need to cut the trace, the variable output option connects to copper. Cut it out and then solder the bridge you need. I tested two boards. Fixed output voltage reduced by 1%. It won't hurt. I only want to see 5.0 volts, not 4.949 volts. Once I have my bootbox set up, I'll take a few more measurements. For those who want to know, it's based on MPS' MP2315 chip.
