RUST! 5 months later and NOT happy!
The antenna has been up for 5 months and all the exposed metal is already rusting! Obviously the claim "stainless steel" is far-fetched! So far the antenna has worked flawlessly. Originally I had to shorten the mast by about 1/2 inch to get a lower SWR. Out of the box the SWR was about 2.25, after I cropped the antenna it's now 1.12 on channel 1 and 1.25 on channel 40. It works but I'm totally disappointed in the rust and am afraid of rust my roof eventually shattered Very expensive truck if I leave it where it is. I will look for an alternative to this antenna.
