Save yourself the hassle and buy a new intake manifold if your car has a welded flange. I replaced my receiver tube, used this part and it worked great. I used to have less than 20psi when starting and about 40psi when driving. I also had a very loud knocking/clacking sound. This part, along with a new intake manifold, solved my problem. I now have 40psi at idle and 60psi while driving. I have no more noise. This product does a great job of hanging the suction pipe and avoiding future problems. The quality is also very satisfied.
