Works great, I had to sharpen the weld on the intake manifold a bit but that's not the fault of the product. Also, my intake manifold is about an inch and a half from the bottom of the oil pan. I don't know what it's about, but I need to extend it.

Perfect fit. Gm had to put it in himself. Added protection for my oil pump tube. 2 bolts instead of 1. Easier to install the new pump into the oil pump with even tension without damaging the O-ring.

I bought this for a factory 99 5.3 intake manifold and like the other type I bought I had to file it down to fit the intake manifold. It works, but I feel I shouldn't, hence my low rating.

Pretty silly that GM makes two threaded holes in the oil pump for the intake manifold and only uses one. I installed it with a new pickup tube. It is very high quality and comes with two new mounting screws. I now have added confidence that my suction hose is secure and properly sealed.

Oh tell me if you have anything with LS4 be it 06+ Impala SS, 04-08 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP or whatever then I think it's a MUST because with factory oil that Intake manifold is fixed with 1 bolt only, but there is a provision for using 2 bolts, so this kit uses the oil intake manifold attachment with both bolt holes and comes with 2 new bolts. I think it would also be a good idea to replace the oil pickup tube o-ring when installing the oil pickup and I highly recommend doing so.

Save yourself the hassle and buy a new intake manifold if your car has a welded flange. I replaced my receiver tube, used this part and it worked great. I used to have less than 20psi when starting and about 40psi when driving. I also had a very loud knocking/clacking sound. This part, along with a new intake manifold, solved my problem. I now have 40psi at idle and 60psi while driving. I have no more noise. This product does a great job of hanging the suction pipe and avoiding future problems.
