Good replacement for 1984 OEM 300Z cowl struts

Bought this kit to replace defective stock struts on a 1984 300Z. The only major step to installing them was drilling and removing the original Nissan mounting brackets from the factory racks. Without these, these spare parts cannot be installed. Once assembled and installed on Z, the hood opened smoothly and held the open position as it should.
