Terrible scraper for washing car windshield.

About 10 years ago I bought a similar folding scraper which I kept in my car. I was very happy with it but it looked bad so I bought this one to replace. This new one is terrible. The rubber is too stiff and doesn't take the shape of the windshield curve, so it only exposes areas of the window that are about 2 inches wide at a time. If I press harder and try to get a wider area to touch the windshield, the rubber flexes sideways and it doesn't scrape water off the windshield at all; only stains. It's a shame that you can't give this product negative stars.
