Took less than half an hour. The blade brake system has been updated since 2012, so I had to install the rather large "rocker" that came with the kit. Removal and reinstallation was difficult because a particular threaded bolt had to be pulled out the wrong way up from under two V-belts and the large pulley had to be reinstalled and the whole plate screwed blindly into the body threaded bolt by feel because the washers got seated Threaded screw back into the threaded bolt. It took me 4 hours because I didn't know what I was doing. Maybe it takes less time for an experienced person. Finally everything worked out for me and I mowed.
