sharp and comfortable

The cleaver came very sharp, nicely packaged. Feels good in hand. I also have a boning knife, also sharp and handy. These knives look and feel very good, not cheap at all. One reviewer mentioned that the cleaver is not a traditional Chinese cleaver and I agree. It's thicker and heavier than I expected and more like a carving knife. I think the hole in it is a sale! But for what it is, it's a great knife. I'm a bit obsessed with sharpness so I sharpened both knives very lightly and they are super sharp!
