I have Leaksmart system installed in 2 houses. When this system works, it's great. Does what it says on the tin. Some sensors pair in seconds. Others have to sit down and repeat the pairing process 1000 times. Biggest complaints (and this happens in both houses - two separate systems): 1. Hub goes down for no reason. Wireless 3.0 hub in both houses. I get a notification out of nowhere that the hub is unavailable. Any other internet-connected device in the house is fine, so it's not a network. If you wait 2-4 hours, it will usually come back online by itself. 1a. If you try to disable or restart the hub, it often loses its configuration completely and you have to set everything up again. This has happened to me at least once in every household.2. Random sensors turn off for no reason. Sometimes if you wait, this problem will fix itself - and the sensor will turn back on without intervention. 2a. Sometimes they ALL go offline and you have to go around and pair each sensor with the hub again. This is not a battery problem in the sensors, this is a product defect. If you're installing it in your main house, these are frustrating issues, but you can usually fix them yourself. If you're installing this in a home 500 miles away I would find another solution that is a little more stable and doesn't require physical intervention to fix issues that shouldn't arise in the first place.
