I bought this to replace a carbon monoxide alarm on a van. I looked at the model I had and didn't want to pay more than $70 for it so I looked for alternatives and this model came up for sale on the van forums. It's smaller than what we had, but I like the smaller size better. It came with the battery already installed so I had to pull out the protective plastic strip and it worked right away. I hit the test button and everything seems to be working great. I will use it as a replacement from now on. I'm glad Revain is selling them at a good price.
