Review on Enhanced AMD Ryzen 5 1600X CPU (YD160XBCAEWOF) by Adam Koakowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

This processor has been in use by me for about two years. operates at 1.2625 volts at a frequency of 3.8. Games rarely reach 50 degrees with the Sctythe Mugen 5.1 cooler, more frequently 46–48. One core's performance is modest but adequate. I was able to test it in a ton of difficult shooters for both single-player and multiplayer. There are no microfreezes and statters with expert tuning. The processor is quite capable of delivering 100–200 frames per second in shooters at the lowest graphics settings. Additionally, the r5 1600 is available right now for only $8,000. It will be relevant for a very long time, especially in light of the comparable design of the upcoming console generation, for which games will be created throughout the course of the following seven years.

Pros
  • 3.8GHz easily overclocked, 6 cores, 12 threads Low cost Minimal heat dissipation
Cons
  • Core performance is inferior to Intel's
