I hate throwing away leftovers - yes I'm cheap. bottles. The bottles remain upright for 24 hours. The viscosity versus opening the funnel is such that you may have to "throw" the setup (using two hands to hold it together) onto the counter once or twice during the transfer. When the top bottle is empty, remove it and you may have to "jump" and the funnel will be empty. At this viscosity I also made a hole in the top bottle to let air in. You won't get everything in 24 hours, but you will get enough to make the process worthwhile. Cleaning is easy. If my description doesn't make any sense, just put the bottles together and leave for 24-48 hours, disconnect, discard the empty one, then clean the funnel. You won't endure that much, but you'll recover enough.
