Review on Mavis Miki Reusable Bamboo Towels: Heavy Duty, Money-Saving Kitchen Paper Replacement - Strong Absorbency, Zero Waste Lint-Free Unpaper Towel (Pack of 40) by Travis Riffey

A great shop towel that many people will love in the kitchen too

I'm a guy who's afraid of staying home without paper towels. I usually try to keep the crate in the garage so that on the last few rolls I'm already pulling the trigger to buy a new crate. I love seeing what's available and these bamboo towels caught my eye. They will not replace disposable paper towels as they are very different. You could get me wrong, but for most users this is overkill, both in terms of durability and cost per towel. What they do absolutely amazing is the store towel. The absorbency is lower than that of paper towels, which is not surprising. But the durability is on a whole other level, and the fact that they're woven with open pockets makes up for the lack of absorbency of the fiber itself. The open holes offer plenty of edges and pockets, and they clean hard surfaces while staying together to the point where you can wash and reuse them. Here the increased cost of a sheet becomes dependent on how many times the towel is washed and reused. In my experience it can be more than a few times, maybe half a dozen times. They clean easily in my store's windows and leave no lint. The same goes for my countertop. This is one of the best reusable towels I've found in the store for heavier use. I still stick to my choice in the kitchen for continuous use: 1.) Bounty and 2.) Brawny/or VIVA (tie).

Pros
  • Paper and Plastic
Cons
