Review on ๐Ÿด The Ultimate Vargo Titanium Spork: Lightweight, Durable, and Versatile! by Gerald Barrett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Differs in simplicity. and that's why it's great!

I bought this spork after reading some reviews and watching some videos. To be honest, I was initially skeptical about the idea of Spork. I bought it about 6 months ago and wasn't very impressed. It turns out. It was my fault. I ordered a product that had a fork on one end and a spoon on the other (like no spatula!). I decided to buy a Vargo titanium spatula as an experiment for my (3) sons and myself to use as "everyone's tool" at home and on the go. Let me say that we were very surprised at the build quality the sporks and how comfortable they really are (if they can withstand the abuse of two 7 year olds and a 6 year old then that's an ok book with me.) I've ordered several colors in a line and will address that a bit. If you're looking for quality cutlery that will stand the test of time this isn't generally your product, let's just list it down However, if you're looking for a phenomenal food tool that combines the design and functionality of a paddle, really lightweight is a fantastic price then you need this vargo paddle I have not weighed the paddle to verify the weight manufacturer claims are correct corresponds to the real ity. I find the Spork to be very light in hand and even having (6) of them in a microfiber cloth pouch in my fleece jacket pocket when I was at the theme park all day was no problem. Taking them on our trip to the theme park really gave me a great idea of how these sparks work and what their life expectancy is. From eating chicken and mashed potatoes to ice cream and cinnabon, these Sparkies have done their jobs well. They were easy to hold, the prongs weren't exaggerated and the usable area of the spoon portion was just right. My only complaint was the different colored versions of this spoon. With gold, blue and purple along with the just polished version there was a lot of color loss and tarnishing from first use and even before (taken out of box). impressive brilliance, and it seems they will remain so. The gold version lost its tint simply by taking it out of the packaging, while the blue and purple versions gave similar results after just 1-2 uses, rinse with water and wipe dry. While they all performed the same function and made the same impression, the just polished version is the only option I can recommend for long-term use. When I say it won't stand the test of time it has to do with the nature of the metal and the design. While titanium is naturally extremely hypoallergenic and highly resistant to severe corrosion, the fork is made with a thickness that won't last for decades (remember, it's still stronger than its closest competitors). But hey, that's a $10 spork, what you get for that amount is great value. Unless you plan on passing this on as a family heirloom, you can't beat the style and functionality of this product. This little guy is perfect for camping, family picnics, picnics, road trips, lunch breaks, and even just around the house. It even got my wife's approval and that says a lot for an item she equates to an item you only use in a fast food restaurant. or hate it.
