Unstable Best in Furniture Fittings

The problem with them is that if someone sits backwards in the chair, someone will tip over and the chair will fall off. Does anyone know of a brand that has a wide base but a narrow area to accommodate a chair leg? They work great until someone tries to use the furniture and then they don't work.
