You are buying 3 sides of a square so the product feels a bit flexible until you start filling it; The 19" hardware you added becomes the 4th side and adds stability. However, the materials seem solid and I'm not worried about durability. However, the ability to change the depth is what really makes this rack versatile.It's nice not to be limited to a predetermined depth or to be able to change as the design changes - although of course you can't change the depth while it's filled with hardware.I needed an unusual depth for a custom one Application and this stand fitted perfectly. I did not wall mount this unit. Overall I am very happy with this stand. It is durable, versatile for a variety of project needs and is surprisingly good value for money.
