Once installed, this tape is comfortable but much thicker than most road bike tapes. Basically it will increase the size of your handlebars. This tape has a narrow adhesive down the middle that helps keep it in place. In addition, two tape end caps are supplied to attach the tape to the ends of the handlebars. The problem is that the tape is so thick that it doesn't stay on the handlebars, making it impossible to slide and hold the tape into the handlebars while installing the connector. I used a few drops of hot glue to hold the tape in place but found the plugs were too small for my sticks so I used the originals. Also, there are two strips of useless black tape, so attach the other end of the tape. This tape just won't stick to the steering wheel. The best solution is to use electrical tape, it stretches and holds better. Some installation instructions or hints would be helpful. The rest of the thread works.
