Review on Brita 636178 FBA_35034 Dispenser Ultramax by Angela Jones

My parents have an older version of this filter and when my smaller Brita filter finally died (I dropped it) I decided to use this filter because I had enough Water runs through that I'm tired of filling my smaller one. The large model fits neatly side by side in my fridge and holds quite a bit of water. The water actually filters quite quickly. The top and small filler cap fit fairly well but aren't too difficult to remove and clean regularly, although I have to admit that I leave the small filler cap just over its opening. This further prevents food odors from getting into the water. When water is served, the jet doesn't look so big, but the glasses are filled well and quickly. One thing that bothered me is that in order to place a glass or container under a small spout, then the spout (and part of the occupied one) has to protrude over the edge of the shelf. I was concerned that there would be an issue with the door closing securely. No problem - I found there was more space between the edge of the shelf and the door shelves than I thought. I can pull the dispenser out just far enough to easily access the spout with no trouble closing the door properly. It appears to be solidly built. and I look forward to years of use.
