I will say that the pedal arm puller appears to be designed for the square spindle on older bikes. I tried using it on a brand new 2021 Jamis Renegade and the pedal puller didn't work, although at least on the outside it looked like it should/could work. However, the socket worked fine for the crank. I used this kit on my 90's Giant MTB and all the parts that came with it worked like a champ so will have it on hand. I don't know how durable it is, but it doesn't matter because I'll probably only use it for a year or two, be careful. I've seen the tools they used in LBS prove more substantial than these, but looks aren't everything.
