I like playing mahjong. I was looking for more suitable racks and linkages and came across magnetic linkages in my search. Racks and push rods alone were $30, then I found this set (well, I'll admit my 3rd set!) but couldn't stop by! Is it a good deal? The symbols are a bit different from other sets but are easy to understand. I love tile boxes, but once again I have to point out that I put my tiles in a "bag" rather than stacking everything nice and neatly. , so I put the racks and pushers in the plate holders. The tile holders are on the sides so they won't fall out when the tile or shelves/pushers are in. Best of all - a good soft case for everyone and the price is great. Yes, I could get a prettier set, but it will be a set that I take with me to the different play areas that we play in. I'm worried about someone stealing a tile to replace a missing tile in their set, so on the off chance that happens I can live with that. If you are a traveling player, a new player, an "old" player, want a very affordable set---here you are!
